More than 10,000 foods and beverages in Latin America are displayed in the sixth edition of the Latin American Food Show (LAFS) next September. These foods and beverages that are rich in textures and flavors confirm its position as the largest international food exhibition in the region.

According to Carmina del Valle, Executive Director LAFS, the food fair continues to grow, given the versatility and origin of the products exhibited along the so-called worlds or flags. These foods include: coffee, chocolate, organic meats and sausages, seafood, candy, cheese and dairy, and many more.

Carmina del Valle stated that in this new edition of LAFS, scheduled for September 7th to 9th, one of the largest fairs of Mexico (located in Cancun), Quintana Roo, held a group of specialized conferences and tastings of the different types national and international drinks.

That is why, he believes that this year, more that 600 exhibitors are expected to participate, which builds to achieve business between producers and buyers, further encouraging exports and the growth of the participating companies.

Del Valle said that over the past five years LAFS has proven to be a very special event for Latinos because their main challenge has been focusing the eyes of all to America. This creates a synergy between Latin American countries and serves to set up a trade union in the food industry, which allows Latin American countries to negotiate with the United States and other world regions.

Latin American Food Show is aimed at wholesalers of food products, supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, industrial canteens, food markets, packing houses and generally all those associated with the production, distribution, food processing and preparation.

The main objective noted by Carmina del Valle is to reflect the best of food and beverage market is in Latin America.
